The Court of Appeal has upheld the security measure "arrest in prison" for Denis Meçe, the author of the murder in Pogradec.

For the 3 collaborators Leonidha Guçen, Arjan Manellar and Voltan Shkulak, a compulsory appearance measure was set.

We remind you that Egli Proga was raped to death outside the premises of the victim's bar.

At first, the murder was reported as a crash, but after more than 12 hours the police announced that we were dealing with a banal fight from which Egli Proga had been killed.

The police arrested Denis Meçe as the author of the murder, on the charge of intentional murder, and prosecuted Voltan Shkulaku, Leonidha Guçe and Arjan Manellari for failure to report the crime.

But the Prosecutor's Office of Korça, in the session for setting the security measure, reduced the charge against Denis Meçe from intentional homicide to manslaughter, which brought a clash between the police and the Prosecutor's Office of Korça./  CNA
