A 55-year-old man has been arrested in Durrës after being caught with an undeclared amount of euros and 63 bottles of alcoholic beverages without a receipt.

Citizen K.Sh., a resident of Fier, was arrested. Money and goods were seized after the checks carried out.

"Specialists from the Durrës DVKM arrested in flagrante delicto the citizen K. Sh., 55 years old, resident of Fier, after at the entrance to the Republic of Albania, during the checks in the van he was driving, an undeclared amount of euros was found, as well as 63 bottles of alcoholic beverages, without invoices of origin. The amount of euros and the goods were seized as material evidence ," the police statement said. /CNA
