Anti-drug operation/ Three bags of drugs, cars, money and firearms are seized

4 citizens are arrested in the act (2 citizens who were transporting the narcotics by vehicle, one citizen who monitored the road where the vehicle with narcotics would pass and another citizen who had a Kalashnikov firearm in the vehicle to sell together with the narcotics).

As a result of the quick administration of the information provided by the police intelligence within the coded police operation "Monitorimi", on the road axis "Bênçe-Tepelën", the citizens ID, 54 years old and FD, were caught in the act and put in handcuffs. 19 years old (father and son), residents of the village of Bënçë, after in the vehicle with driver ID citizen and passenger FD citizen, on the bridge of In Bança, Tepelen, 3 bags with about 30 kilograms of cannabis sativa were found.   

Also, the citizen MM, 27 years old, who was driving the "BMË" type vehicle, was caught, who was monitoring the road where the vehicle with the narcotics was passing, in order to avoid the Police services.

Following the operation, the services of the Special Operational Force also caught and arrested the citizen RB, 27 years old, as he was driving behind the vehicle with narcotics, with another vehicle carrying a Kalashnikov firearm and ammunition, with the intention of selling.

The procedural actions were carried out by the specialists for the Narcotics Investigation of DVP Gjirokastër. The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Gjirokastër, for further actions. / CNA
