New details have emerged regarding the dynamics of the assassination that shook Lezha the day before. A married couple were executed by a hail of bullets while driving on the Balldren-Torovicë road, near their apartment.

According to reports, two vehicles were involved in the attack, one of which ambushed the Audi Q7 vehicle in which the couple was traveling and blocked the road.

Meanwhile, two people got out of the second vehicle, which was suspected to have no license plates, and began shooting at the couple with Kalashnikov automatic weapons.

They died at the scene of the shooting. According to reports, the perpetrators had been following the victims' movements all day and had been waiting for them to return to their homes to execute them.

The identity of the perpetrators is still unknown, while it is reported that security camera footage from private homes and surrounding businesses has been seized, which filmed the entire dynamics of the attack. The causes of the serious incident also remain a mystery, and investigations are ongoing to clarify them. /CNA
