A 35-year-old man was taken hostage in Tirana by several people, who threatened him to give them his property.

Tirana Police announces that the measures "Arrest in prison" have been executed for 2 citizens, and the security measure "House arrest" for 3 others.

In the meantime, efforts are being made to arrest persons with the initials T. Xh., alias H. Xh., 36 years old, and FK, 49 years old.

Police Notification:

The police operation coded "The debt" is being finalized by the Department for the Investigation of Serious Crimes at the Tirana DVP, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction Tirana.

The personal security measure "Arrest in prison" is implemented for 2 citizens, and the security measure "House arrest" for 3 others.

Specialists of the Serious Crimes Investigation Sector in DVP Tirana, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction Tirana, have organized and finalized the police operation coded "The debt". Within this operation:

- the security measure "Arrest in prison" was executed, for the citizens: AO, 37 years old, AP, 50 years old, resident in Tirana.

- the security measure "House arrest" was executed for citizens: NQ, 52 years old, SK, 42 years old and AM, 46 years old.

Efforts are being made to capture citizens T. Xh., alias H. Xh., 36 years old, and FK, 49 years old.

From the investigative actions, it has emerged that these citizens, in cooperation with each other, have deprived a 35-year-old man of his freedom, and have threatened him to give away property.

The materials were handed over to the Prosecutor's Office, for the criminal offenses "Extortion through threats or violence to give property", and "Unlawful deprivation of liberty", provided by articles 109/b and 110/2 of the Criminal Code./ CNA
