Journalist Klodiana Lala, invited to MCN TV, spoke about Dritan Rexhepin, extradited from Turkey to our country, the person who created the first Albanian drug cartel.

The first Albanian group was that of Franc and Hajdar Çopja, then Erion Alibejt's group and Suel Çela's group with parts We went to Shkodër, Vlorë and Durrës. At that time, Dritan Rexhepi, in all the sources we contacted, was of great interest. for the first time that he had started a family while in prison in Ecuador, with the niece of a general in Ecuador. He had managed to be released on bail and escaped.

What did we get? He was the first Albanian who managed to create the criminal cartel, Kompania Belo, from the start to the last distribution of the gram of cocaine. Cocaine traffic has several segments. Due to strong connections in Ecuador with cartels there, but also in Colombia, Costa Rica, Peru, he managed to create the first cartel with Albanians. In Albania, he is the first contract killer. Killed on behalf of Shkelqim Hata and killed the police officer. He was also accused of murdering Arben Keci, but it was not proven. In Albania, this was the only event tried and convicted.

After escaping from Ecuador, the Albanian authorities had information that he had entered Albania clandestinely and had the protection of a powerful criminal group. It is suspected that he ordered at least two mafia assassinations in Vlora.

There is an interesting detail about this, it is the first to start money laundering, with the most brilliant scheme for the time. He found vulnerable people, who had problems with the law, small businesses, for example butchers, barbershops, he sent people in Ecuador, sums of money up to 5 thousand euros, 20 years ago. This money financed the purchase of drugs, multiplied and is thought to be millions of euros.

The last event is the kidnapping and disappearance of Jan Prenga. One of Jan Prenga's brothers had robbed a large amount of drugs and Dritan Rexhepi within three hours managed to find a contact in a high security prison in Great Britain and he asked Jan Prenga's other brother to return the drugs. A part of the drugs and money was returned, but Jan Prenga did not return, he was massacred and disappeared, he has not been found. Dritan Rexhepi told the family the names of the people who had kidnapped and killed him.
