Police Notification:

The Narcotics Investigation Sector of DVP Korçë, in cooperation with DVKM Korçë, is finalizing the coded operation "Shufrat", for cracking down on a case of attempted narcotics trafficking.

During the operation, 56 kilograms of cannabis sativa narcotic substance, the truck where the narcotic substance was hidden and 1300 euros were seized.

As part of the operation, citizens were arrested: DH, 68 years old and AH, 35 years old, residents of Tirana (father and son).

At PKK Kapeshticë, at the exit of RSh, the Police services, based on police intelligence, have passed for control in the second line, the truck vehicle with the driver citizen A. H and the passenger citizen DH During the control, in the part of the roof of the trailer of the truck, 44 metal bars were found mounted, in which quantities of the narcotic substance cannabis sativa, with a total weight of 56 kilograms, were hidden.

Following the procedural actions, citizen FK, 38 years old, resident in Tirana, was declared wanted, as he is suspected of possessing narcotics and being an accomplice in its trafficking.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Korçë General Jurisdiction, for further actions. /CNA
