Bloody week/ Crimes that shocked the country

During this week, several criminal events have been recorded that have shocked the country. Several murders, injuries and suicides have been reported in the media these days.

The week started with a domestic crime in Milot. At noon on Monday, August 19, shots were fired in Milot, where 3 people were injured.

7 people were involved in the fight, 4 from one family and 3 from another. Initially they were occupied with strong means and then the conflict degenerated into the use of weapons.

The police arrested two of the people involved in this fight and announced the search for another.

On the same day, on August 19, gunshots were recorded in Tirana in the Paris Municipality area where a police officer, Erjon Goxhara, injured the citizen Lorenc Kosta.

Again, the crime happened for weak motives. The author surrendered to the police only two days ago.

Likewise, on the evening of August 19, an American citizen who lived in the Laprak area and was a teacher, killed his wife, two dogs and then himself with a rope.

This is a crime that shocked the entire public opinion due to the details that kept him locked in the apartment for a long time.

On the same evening, August 19, gunshots were recorded in Velipoja, where two people were killed.

The police announced that for weak motives, citizens GF and EF brothers shot citizens EI and AH, who were immediately sent to the hospital but could not survive their injuries and died.

On Tuesday morning, on August 20, another serious incident was reported around 03:00, in neighborhood No. 4 of Korca.

Citizen with initials Dh. Gj., about 90 years old, is suspected to have committed suicide with a shotgun in his apartment.

On the same day, another criminal event was discovered in Mirdita in the village of Lajthizë.

The police announced that the 68-year-old man with the initials FR was shot from the window of the room where he was sleeping.

On August 20, a 72-year-old man with the initials FA was found dead in a stream in Memaliaj.

It was later reported that the 72-year-old had been killed. The investigation showed that the elderly man was hit twice in the head and neck with a cutting tool and then thrown into the canal.

Several gunshots were recorded at noon on Wednesday in the village of Repisht in Shkodra.

The gunshots were aimed at some police officers, who were going to dispose of a parcel of cannabis.

Fortunately, there were no injuries from this incident.

On August 21 , another injury occurred in the country, in Gjirokastër. In the place called "River Bridge", Gjirokastër, in a vehicle service, during a momentary conflict for weak motives, citizen EN, 25 years old, stabbed citizen DS, 38 years old, a resident of the village of Picar, which is located in hospital, out of danger to life.

Several suicides were also reported during the week, the most cases were registered in Tirana.

The most recent case of injury happened yesterday at the Teg roundabout where several people got involved in a fight and one of them was injured, again for weak motives.
