In relation to a news published on the portal, which is about an accident that happened in the "Ali Demi" neighborhood, we inform you that:

On 15.01.2024, at 01:30, the arrest of RA citizen, 22 years old, resident in Tirana, was made for the criminal offense "Violation of traffic rules" and the materials were transferred to the Prosecutor's Office for further procedural actions Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana.

This citizen, on 14.01.2024, around 11:00 p.m., in the "Ali Demi" neighborhood, near the "Kushtrimi i Lirisi" school, (in the direction of Shkoza), in the pedestrian crossing, caused an accident to the citizen MF, 36 years old, living in Tirana, who was injured as a result of the accident and was sent to the hospital for medical assistance.

During the check of the documentation of the "Skoda" type vehicle, which was driven by the RA citizen, no deficiencies were found, and after the alcohol test, it was found that the driver of the vehicle had not consumed alcohol.

This evening, as a result of the injuries received from the accident, the MF citizen passed away.

The police are continuing to carry out further procedural actions.
