Gunfire near NATO units in the north of Kosovo

The NATO mission in Kosovo, KFOR, has told the media in Kosovo that it "heard and saw" gunshots in the vicinity of one of its patrols in Zubin Potok - one of the four municipalities inhabited by a majority of Serbs in the north of Kosovo. .

The event happened on Sunday evening, while KFOR said that there were no injuries or material damage.

Earlier, the Kosovo Police (KP) denied Serbian media reports that it was involved in the exchange of fire in Zubin Potok.

"Nuk ka pasur ndonjë sulm ndaj Policisë së Kosovës, e as nuk ka pasur ndonjë shkëmbim zjarri mes Policisë së Kosovës, apo ndonjë grupi. PK-ja nuk ka pasur shkëmbim zjarri ndaj askujt", thuhet në njoftimin për media.
