"The opposition only aims to block"/ Kurti: The country should not go

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, and also the leader of the LVV, Albin Kurti, accused the opposition parties that by not participating in the session to elect the president, they are showing that they "have no other goal than to block."

He accused the opposition of unstatesmanlike actions and, according to Kurti, the opposition parties only want to block his government.

"Under these circumstances, this entire blockade cannot be called anything other than non-recognition of the election results clearly expressed on December 28," Kurti said, adding that in these elections his party won 51.1 percent of the votes.

He again mentioned the offers he made to PDK and LDK on the issue of the president, which were rejected, saying that he made concrete proposals, but was faced with rejections.

"We have made every effort to ensure that the country does not go into repeated and unnecessary elections," Kurti said at the start of the press conference./rel
