US Secretary of State Antony Blinken met with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg to discuss recent military aid to Ukraine and how European countries will get through the winter with much less Russian gas and oil. As VOA correspondent Cindy Saine reports, Mr. Blinken said that Russian President Vladimir Putin is using energy as a weapon.
"We're going to see a lot more effort from the Biden administration to manage expectations in Europe, to try to help with the energy crisis, and at the same time to continue supporting Ukraine as iron-fisted as it has been for seven years. the last few months", says Mr. Michael Kimmage, from the Catholic University of America.
