Tourism and photovoltaics stimulate investments in the Divjaka area, OSSH 2.3

The Distribution System Operator intends to make a new investment for the 35 kilovolt line in the area that includes Spillena and Divjaka.

Referring to a procurement procedure opened this Tuesday, with a fund limit of 229 million lek or 2.3 million euros, it is underlined that this investment is expected to have a positive impact on both the tourist aspect that this area represents, as well as on the investments in photovoltaics that are expanding in this region.

" The reconstruction and strengthening of this new line will make it possible to supply electricity with technical parameters and the necessary standards for a large number of consumers in the coastal areas of Divjakë, Spille and Rrogozhina, but there will also be benefits for all consumers in these areas, for the investment perspective that the entire Albanian coast has received.

"This project will increase transmission and distribution capacities in the MV network, increase the security of energy supply to private consumers with technical parameters and higher quality of service, reduce technical losses in the medium voltage network and enable the production of clean energy from photovoltaic plants ," the technical report accompanying the procedure states.

The document specifies that this project aims to build a new 35 kV line with a circuit from the 110/35/20/6 kV Kavajë Substation - the 35/10 kV Rrogozhinë Substation, which also serves to increase the security of supply to the Divjakë and Ballaj Substations, with new 110 kV metal poles and protected with OPGË cable conductors along its entire length.

The new line will be connected to the 35 kV two-circuit terminal pole supplying the Kavaja N.Station with a 35 kV cable, XLPE, with 1×300/20 Cu mm² aluminum conductor, and will be connected to the Rrogozhina N.Station with the best route that can be found, adapting to the existing terrain, and connecting with the same 35 kV cable.

The line has a total length of approximately 18 km, will be 35 kV with new metal construction poles, 110 kV pole insulation and protected with wire conductors along its entire length./ Monitor
