The deadline for submitting business balance sheets for the previous year will be postponed by at least one week. According to the announcement of the Ministry of Finance and Economy, the estimated fine of 60,000 lek will not be applied to about 20,000 entities that have not yet applied for the filing of financial statements.

Meanwhile, as a result of the cyber attack, businesses in the country are not able to receive a number of services from the E-Albania platform and the National Business Center, such as downloading extracts, registering a new business or certifications and permits.

Foreign entrepreneurs are also suffering from the partial restoration of E-albania services.

The internal system of the National Business Center currently does not present any problems, but due to the attempted cyber attack that occurred on Sunday, July 17, all government platforms, including e-Albania, are in the back-up process until the moment of full scan, to return to online functionality. /CNA.al
