"The world on wheels" is a very popular expression here in Albania, but it fits many countries around the world.

And so was the case of a young girl, named Kathleen Martinez, who now works as a lawyer for the protection of immigrants.

She told BuzzFeed how her boss once fired her after she refused to make him coffee.

"My boss fired me from my first job as a lawyer because I didn't fit in with the conservative culture and refused to make him coffee. So I started my own law firm, where we wear whatever we want, do whatever we want, and I kicked my old boss out. The best part? He recently applied for a job at my firm. I told him we need help making the girls brown." Martinez said.


Attorney Martinez told BuzzFeed that starting her firm has been a really cool experience and it means a lot to her to be able to empower other women as well.

"I didn't expect to have such a big influence on other girls. We have had thousands of lawyers and legal professionals apply to work in our firm," said the lawyer./ CNA.al
