"Major founder of Orthodoxy in Albania"/ Mitsotakis: Archbishop Anastasios, diplomat of love

The Prime Minister of Greece, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, in his speech during the funeral ceremony of Archbishop Anastasios, stated that he was a major founder of Orthodoxy in Albania and a diplomat of love.

"Archbishop Anastasios Janullatos was a major founder of Orthodoxy in Albania. His figure will be irreplaceable both here and in the heart of Hellenism. We bow with reverence before his contribution. Archbishop Anastasios was an example of wisdom, but also of action, the light of Orthodoxy. It is no coincidence that today both Greeks and Albanians, but also believers in the world, mourn Anastasios Janullatos, the diplomat of love.

"Archbishop Anastasios was a source of pride, a tireless servant. With his humility he showed that the Orthodox Church can be a love that unites," Mitsotakis said./ CNA
