Journalist Blendi Fevziu says that Edi Rama is governing unconcerned by the opposition, as he considers his two rivals, Meta and Berisha, to be people with problems with the West.

Invited to the show "The Unexposed", Fevziu said that governments are in danger when they least expect it and that the economic crisis is seriously endangering the middle class, leading them to poverty.

“Unë do të isha shumë herë më i shqetësuar sesa shoh kryeministrin, në raport me ekonominë këtë dimër. Mund të çojë një pjesë të shoqërisë së mesme në kufijtë e varfërisë. Mendoj se qeveria duhet të ishte pak më e kujdesshme. Shpresoj të fokusohen tek pensionistët, sepse kanë thënë se do të ketë disa paketa. Nuk e di si mund të jetojnë pensionistët. Kam takuar një zonjë me 78 mijë lek të vjetra pension. Shumica shkojnë për ilaçe. Jetojmë në shoqëri ku përpiqen fëmijët ti ndihmojnë nga emigrimi.”, tha ai.

I pyetur nëse mendon se qeveria është e rrezikuar, Fevziu tha Rama është komod me opozitën.

"Rama feels comfortable with the opposition, because he thinks there are two people who have problems with the West. But governments suffer worse when they think they are more secure than ever. I know it's not the same circumstances, but remember in 1997 when the protests started and the opposition came out two weeks late. People came out on the street. It was the public and the protests. What happened to the Albanian opposition in 2019, leaving the parliament and not participating in the elections will cost more than 20 years. The opposition would have at least 25 potential candidates for the winner and would fight for at least 15. Rama is threatened by the public reaction more than by the opposition," added Fevziu./ CNA.al
