The Ministry of Defense has provided details on the fire situation nationwide for the last 24 hours.

According to data, 38 fires have been reported in the last 24 hours, of which 14 are active.

Currently, the active outbreaks are in:

Vlora Region

In the municipality of Finiq, the fire has spread to the village of Krane, the administrative unit of Mesopotamia. On the ground, 37 officers with 6 firefighting vehicles from the municipalities of Finiq, Saranda, Konispol and Delvinë, 20 police forces, 30 municipal and volunteer forces, assisted by the Armed Forces with 28 officers, 4 firefighting vehicles, 1 ambulance, 1 tow truck, 60 military forces and air support.

The Croatian Canadair aircraft also operated. During the day, the fire in the village of Krongj was reactivated. Residents were evacuated. 2 firefighting vehicles from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, 1 ambulance and transport vehicles are at the scene. 2 firefighting vehicles from the Armed Forces also came to help.

Throughout the night, the most problematic active hotbed was in the village of Leshnica e Poshtme. 3 fire engines with 8 personnel from the Finiq and Konispol Fire Departments operated on the ground, assisted by the Armed Forces with 2 fire engines and 15 Armed Forces forces, as well as 1 FNSH group.

In the "Rëzom" park (protected area), at the top of "Lucës", Vergo administrative unit, above the Skërfica tunnel. Due to the rugged terrain, intervention is difficult, but AdZM employees have gone to the scene.

In the village of Malaj i Epërm, in the "Vjollcë" neighborhood, Rrëshen administrative unit, Mirditë municipality, where the fire is isolated in a forest area with pine trees, oaks and shrubs. The fire is under full control, but operational forces are monitoring it.

Dibër District.

Allushi Mountain, near the village of Plani Bardhë, Klos municipality, the fire is under control and is being monitored by 6 MZSH officers and 1 firefighting vehicle.

Berat District.

In the municipality of Poliçan, outside the territory of the Mechanical Plant, the fire continues to burn in an area of bushes and olive groves. The fire has spread over the water supply, near a group of houses and near the city to the Nursing Home. The forces of the Municipal Fire Department of Poliçan, Berat, Skrapar, Lushnje, Patos and Roskovec have operated on the ground with 7 firefighting vehicles and 25 personnel, assisted by 60 personnel of the Armed Forces and air support. Intensive work continues by the operational force to bring it under control. Residents have been evacuated.

Tirana District.

In the place called "Bërzhitës Mountain", Ibë village, Bërzhitë administrative unit, Tirana municipality. The fire has spread to an area of 5 Ha in an area with bushes and thorns. Today, operational forces are working to extinguish the fire.

In the villages of Ballaj and Zhabjak, Kryevidh administrative unit, Rrogozhina municipality. The fire grew in size, endangering the homes of the village of Ballaj, but after tireless work by the fire brigade, it was brought under control, assisted by an Armed Forces helicopter and 50 officers. Over 50 homes were saved, in 6 of which the fire reached the yard, but fortunately without causing any damage. Today, the operational forces are working to completely eliminate the fire.

Durres District.

On the mountain of Kruja, above the cement factory, in the municipality of Kruja, a fire has broken out in a pine forest. 15 operational forces have been deployed on the ground, which have made it possible to isolate it. Gjirokaster District.

In the village of Turan, administrative unit of Qendër Tepelena, municipality of Tepelena, where the outbreak has been isolated, but monitoring is continuing.

Elbasan District.

In the village of Mukaj, Kukur administrative unit, Gramsh municipality, the situation has been problematic due to the wind, endangering even homes. Today, operational forces are working to extinguish the fire, supported by 8 officers and 12 forces from the Gramsh municipality.

At the location called "Uzina", Cërrik municipality. The fire is currently isolated and work continues to completely extinguish the fire.

68 firefighting vehicles and 601 operational forces were deployed in the firefighting operations, assisted by the Armed Forces with 183 military forces, 3 firefighting vehicles and 3 helicopters of the Armed Forces. 2 Canadair aircraft from Croatia and Italy also participated. Regarding fires, a "HIGH" risk level is expected in all regions. In some regions, a "VERY HIGH" risk is expected only in localized areas, specifically: Shkodër region (South), Lezhë region (North), Elbasan region (West).
