The Minister of Economy and Innovation, Delina Ibrahimaj, has reviewed the latest economic developments and milestones for greater economic growth, innovation and alignment with European standards.

The Minister emphasized that Agriculture has suffered a decline and there should be increased attention to this sector.

Ibrahimaj said that funds will be allocated for its further development.

"We have a decline in the agriculture and fishing sector, but agriculture in nominal terms has grown by 2.62%.

We will pay increased attention to agriculture. We will allocate funds for its development.

We have 250 million euros in funds from the bank to increase lending to this sector.

This fund guarantees a loan with a maximum interest rate of 3%.

Combined with the guarantee fund, the interest rate for investment in Agriculture goes up to 2%.

The Development Bank guarantees that there will be a continuity of funds provided by the government and foreign countries.

The industry in the second quarter of the year has been in decline.

It was influenced by the activity of the extractive industry. We have sub-sectors that have shown positive results.

"Energy has had a positive performance of 3.45%," said Ibrahimaj./ CNA
