"Economic growth continues to be dynamic at 4.91%"/ Ibrahimaj: Foreign

The Minister of Economy and Innovation, Delina Ibrahimaj, holds a press conference on the topic: "Stability and Development through Economy and Innovation".

The Minister stated that economic growth has been dynamic at 4.91%, influenced by increased consumption, wage growth, growth in foreign trade indicators and foreign investment.

Ibrahimaj said that foreign investments reached 759 million euros during the first 6 months of 2025.

 

"Economic growth continues to be dynamic, at 4.91%, population consumption increased by 3.88%.

Wages in the second quarter increased, as did imports, indicating an increase in consumption. Another indicator is the increase in administration consumption.

Investments have increased by 4.33%, prompting a growing demand from Albanian businesses.

Export and import indicators increased by 3.26%. Foreign direct investments had a positive performance in the first 6 months of the year, increasing to 759 million euros, an increase of 8 million euros compared to the last 6 months of the year.

"About 50% of investors' capital gains are reinvested in our country. The government's focus will be on the manufacturing sector," Ibrahimaj declared./ CNA
