Citizens heading southeast/ Kilometer-long traffic queue in Elbasan

There was heavy traffic today on the Tirana-Elbasan axis. At the Bradashesh roundabout, the queues were kilometers long. Apparently, the weekend movements towards the southeast have started to re-appear in the heavy traffic.

What is striking, according to the images provided, is that a large flow of vehicles is blocked on the Elbasan city ring road. And due to the mistakes of drivers, but also perhaps due to the lack of traffic police, various intersections have been blocked.

The traffic situation on the city ring road is heavy. The flow goes from the Elbasan ring road, to Metalurgjik, to Bradashesh and further, and then towards Tirana, increasing traffic towards the southeast.

The heavy traffic has not only affected the Bradashesh roundabout, but the entire segment up to the entrance to Elbasan./ CNA
