Opposition protest/ 7 people are arrested, 40 opposition representatives are

The police arrested 7 people and prosecuted 61 others for the protest that took place yesterday evening in Tirana.

40 of those prosecuted are MPs and members of the opposition, while 21 are protesters.

Specifically, Flamur Noka, Çlirim Gjata, Xelal Mziu, Albana Vokshi, Oerd Bylykbashi, Flamur Hoxha, Petrit Doda, Agron Gjekmarkaj, Elda Hoti, Lefter Maliqi, Tedi Blushi, Gazment Bardhi, Luciano Boçi, Lefter Gështenja, Saimir Korreshi, Erisa Xixho have been processed. , Ina Zhupa, Ludovik Hasani, etc.

The police declare that MPs or representatives of the political entities Democratic Party of Albania, Republican Party and Freedom Party have forcefully opposed the officers and have not obeyed their orders to free the road axes.

In relation to the gatherings organized yesterday, by representatives of the political entity Democratic Party of Albania, in some road axes and connecting points of the capital, we inform you that the Local Directorate of the Tirana Police and the commissariats under it have carried out all investigative actions and procedural, for the identification and prosecution of citizens who commit illegalities during gatherings. At the end of these actions:

- Citizens RB, 27 years old, AH, 21 years old, J. Ç., 27 years old, AC, 25 years old, GS, 55 years old, V. Gj., 59 years old and Ç. K., 31 years old, as well as 21 citizens were criminally prosecuted, in a free state, for the criminal offenses "Obstructing the circulation of means of transport", "Resisting a public order police officer" and "Organizing and participating in gatherings and illegal demonstrations";

-Citizens FN, AQ, Ç were criminally prosecuted, while free. Gj., IK, AM, Xh. M., TA, AP, EE, LH, IK, SJ, AK, AV, OB, FH, AU, PD, A. Gj., EH, LM, RL, GS, DM, Sh. M., AM, AM, AK, AA, MG, AH, TB, AP, GB, LB, FM, LG, SK, E. Xh. and I. Zh., with the duties of deputy of the Assembly of Albania and/or representative of the Democratic Party of Albania, the Republican Party or the Freedom Party, for the criminal offenses "Obstructing the circulation of means of transport", "Organizing and participating in gatherings of illegal demonstrations", "Disobedience to the orders of the public order officer", "Disturbance of public order and peace" and "Resisting the public order police officer".

From the investigations so far, it results that during the rallies organized yesterday, MPs or representatives of the political entities the Democratic Party of Albania, the Republican Party and the Freedom Party have called on the gatherers to block the road axes together with them, in order so that there was no movement of vehicles. The gatherers have strongly opposed the Police officers on duty, and have not obeyed their orders to free the road axes.
