The vice-president of the DP, Luciano Boçi, spoke about the meeting of the National Council of the DP, which will be held on Tuesday, March 5, at 4:30 p.m.

In an interview, Boçi stated that the National Council will review the Presidency's decisions related to the changes that belong to the DP Statute.

"Before the meeting of the National Council, there is a meeting of the Presidency, because the National Council will consider the decisions of the Presidency that are related to the changes that belong to the DP Statute and because of the right that the National Council has, right sanctioned in the changes that were forwarded through the National Assembly of the DP, he decides that these status changes are made or not made.

At the moment when it is then decided on the statutory changes, they convey their effects in the reorganization of the DP, which means that the leadership part is enriched with the part of the leadership of the Parliamentary Group and the leadership of the parliament in general, as the Presidency is affected from the statutory changes because a part of the leaders, those who are leaders of the parliamentary committees or are under the leadership of the parliamentary committees, i.e. under the position of Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the respective committees, automatically become part of the Presidency of the DP.

Further, while being asked if there will be new vice presidents and if the positions have been divided, Boçi has stated that if the Presidency decides that these status changes will be forwarded to the National Council and the National Council approves them, two corresponding vice presidents will be added based on the positions that they have in the Parliament of Albania, as well as the members of the Presidency, based on the direction of the parliamentary commissions that exist today in the Parliament.
