The Assembly has voted for the new member of the Constitutional Court.
After two days of discussions in the Assembly, Marjana Semini was elected the youngest member of the Constitutional Court. Semini received 58 votes, Ardian Dvorani 14 votes, while Arta Vorpsi 2 votes.
Since none of the candidates received the 84 votes, the candidate ranked first received the position of member of the Constitutional Court.
"Based on Article 125 of the Constitution, if no candidate selected by the KED receives 84 votes, the candidate ranked first by the KED is elected a member of the Constituent Assembly. Based on the votes received, none of the candidates received 84 votes, Marjana Semini ranked first by KED is appointed a member of the Constitutional Court", said Klotilda Bushka./ BA - CNA.al
