Under investigation for police station tenders/ Plarent Ndreca leaves SPAK

Socialist Party MP Plarent Ndreca has left SPAK after about 2 hours. Ndreca appeared at SPAK around 1:30 PM this Thursday.

Ndreca, asked by journalists after leaving SPAK premises, said that he has presented all the arguments and that it is a procedure controlled by all institutions of the Albanian state.

The MP is accused of abuse of office, for tenders for the reconstruction of police stations, at the time when he was Secretary General of the Ministry of Interior.

SPAK accused Ndreca and several officials of the Ministry of Interior of favoritism. According to the investigation, it is suspected that illegal changes were made to the tender fund, favoring the winning company and businessman Gjon Radovani. /CNA
