The 18th day of the protest in the capital took place this Wednesday evening, where citizens continued to raise their voices through their causes. Unlike previous times, as announced by the initiators, the start of the gathering was postponed to 7:00 PM.

Citizens first gathered at "Skënderbej" Square, from where they started the march along the "Dëshmorët e Kombit" Boulevard to then station themselves in front of the Prime Minister's Office building. The next speeches were also held there, where this time, in addition to the young, the elderly also had space to speak.

During their speech, the protesters also commented on the recent vote in the European Parliament regarding the progress report on Albania and the amendment on protected areas, considering it an achievement of their resistance.

The protest was not only attended by citizens. Animals also came down to protest in front of the prime minister's office.

A herd of goats, she-goats, and kids were seen during the protest.

"We are strategic protesters", "Zegjine, my Zegjine, tell me how many kids we are", these are the banners that stood next to the animals in the protest.

After the speeches in front of the Prime Minister's Office ended, the protesters did not disperse. They continued their march through the main streets of the capital, showing resistance and crossing some of Tirana's main axes before the rally closed on Wednesday.

A similar rally took place in Korça but with a reduced number of citizens./ CNA
