"Meta" file/ GJKKO accepts summary trial for Fatime Kryemadhi, Pirro Xhixho and Ema Çoku

The Special Court, in the session held today for the "Meta" file, accepted the request for a summary trial and the division of the case for two of the defendants in the file. 

Specifically, the GJKKO has accepted the summary trial for Pirro Xhixho, Fatime Kryemadhi and Ema Çoku.

The news was also confirmed by Meta's lawyer, Kujtim Cakrani, who said that the GJKKO accepted their lawyers' request for a shortened trial, while the regular trial for Meta and Kryemadhi will continue. 

"We have three co-defendants, whose lawyers had requested a summary trial. As for them, the case was split ," said Cakrani.

 

 Fatime Kryemadhi, Monika Kryemadhi's mother, and Ema Çoku are accused of money laundering. Meanwhile, Pirro Xhixho faces charges of passive corruption of high-ranking officials committed in collaboration.
