Budget 2023/ Meta's electoral amendments

The Freedom Party has made 10 amendments to the law on the budget that the Government presented to the Assembly. 

The head of this party, Ilir Meta, through a post on social networks, says that these amendments were made to avoid discouraging free professionals, so that they do not leave the country.

"The amendments of the Freedom Party for the 2023 Budget Project, to avoid the immediate burden of the fiscal burden and to avoid discouraging free professionals, so that they do not leave the country", writes Meta.

PL requests that the 10-fold increase in business fines be removed, as according to them it is unconstitutional and not proportional.

They also demand that the increase in the excise duty for local beer producers be cancelled, with the claim that it endangers thousands of jobs, as well as canceling the special tax for electricity producers, which does not encourage the growth of investments in the sector./ CNA.al
