Famous Korçar Ilir Vrenozi, in an interview with CNA, made a direct call for a total media boycott of Prime Minister Rama. According to him, it is time for the media to show that they are not tools of power, but voices of citizens and the truth.

He accused most of the media of not having the courage and character to undertake such an act. Vrenozi expressed his disdain for journalists Elvi Fundo and Çim Pela, whom he said were the only ones who spoke about the incinerator affair and for this he said that he "takes his hat off" to them.

The Korçë democrat ended the interview with CNA with a note of deep disappointment towards the current state of Albanian journalism.

" In addition to what I said, the media should remove Edi Rama from the screen this month. Edi Rama has offended journalists, what has he not done to journalists. He has mocked them and they should no longer show this man on the screen. Because the media is the fourth estate and the media, due to the power it has, should eliminate Edi Rama from the screen. It should have done its protest. But here, the third quarter is bought, servility, because Rilindja has made servility come first. If you don't servility, if you don't lick them, you can't eat bread. Honestly, I take my hat off to Elvi Fundo and Çim Peka who have shown themselves to be true men. They have come out openly for the incinerators.
