The Minister of Health and Social Protection, Albana Koçiu, visited this evening the citizens who were sent to receive first aid at the hospital after they were suffocated by the fire in a shopping center in Lushnje.

The minister stated that they are out of danger for their lives and according to the medical staff, so far there are no serious cases as a result of the fire in this building.

"We have just visited all the citizens who went to the hospital in Lushnje. They are all out of danger, thanks to the work of the team of doctors. Everything is under control, the situation appears calm, the citizens have received the necessary medication and for the moment they have no worries", said Minister Koçiu.

Minister Koçiu informed that "before I came to the hospital I was also near the shopping center".

"The situation is under control. All residents have been evacuated and RENEA forces are checking floor by floor. From the information I have, everyone has been evacuated and the police and fire brigade are there to bring the situation under control," he said. said the minister.

The Minister of Health, Koçiu thanked and expressed her gratitude for the efforts and extraordinary work of the State Police, RENEA and firefighters in the face of the flames, as well as the willingness of doctors and nurses to provide quick assistance to citizens./ CNA
