VIDEO/ For the first time in history, the VAR in Qatar leaves its mark before 3 minutes have passed

The first duel of this World Cup between Qatar and Ecuador has started. But the biggest surprise so far, happened just 2 minutes and 38 seconds after the start of the match.

As the friends scored the first goal, after a few seconds the VAR spoiled the celebration. The goal was disallowed for offside.

But why do we say it is a strange event?
