The European champion, Luiza Gega, recently spoke in an interview about the financial difficulties that athletes and their coaches have.

The athlete said that for elite athletes who have some career achievements, there are some things that need to be fixed, emphasizing finances.

“Për elitarin besoj që duhet të rregullohen disa gjëra, pavarësisht se në ditët e sotme gjërat janë më mirë. Kemi një fokus shumë më të madh, një vëmëndje më ta madhe. Probelmet që unë shikoj është që unë sot, kam statusin si Kampione Europe, përveç shpërblimeve që janë vendosur le të themi unë do të filloj fazën përgaditore për vitin tjetër.

Sportistët që arrijnë disa shkallë, duhet të kenë një mbështetje për mundësinë për të përballuar këto training kampe, që unë do shkoj në Keni por që gjithë kohës mundohem të shkoj me buxhetin tim, pak nga klubi.
