Thomas Strakosha is injured and will have to stay away from football fields for several weeks. The 27-year-old goalkeeper of the Albanian national team damaged his ligaments in training with Brentford, as he was waiting for a penalty by his teammate, Kristoffer Ajer.

The injury is expected to keep the Albanian goalkeeper out of action for a few weeks, who has not yet debuted in the Premier League, where he was transferred as a free agent last summer, after his contract with Lazio had ended.

Strakosha has only played one match as a starter with Brentford, that too in the Carabao Cup, where he managed to keep a clean sheet, while he will have to wait for next year for his debut in the championship.
