Armando broja was really unlucky this season. The striker of the national team was injured in a friendly match that Chelsea played with Aston Villa before the start of the championship. The serious injury that Broja received forced him to undergo an operation, as he would thus miss the entire season. Now the red and black player continues his recovery, while in an interview for the official website of the London Blues, he also confessed the nightmares of this injury.

The 21-year-old emphasized that everything was terrible and that he could not get up from the bed, as he felt terrible pain. On the other hand, he revealed that he missed football a lot and that Ben Chilëll helped him a lot in this difficult moment.

"I still haven't fully recovered from that injury. This thing plays on your mind. It was a big shock as I have always been healthy and just had a few minor injuries. It was something shocking for my parents too, because they have rarely seen me injured.

After the operation, I was on bed rest for almost two weeks. It was one of the worst periods of my life. It was horrible. I couldn't get out of bed. My mom used to run around the house to get my pills and give me my food. It was a war. I almost felt useless. You want to do some things, but you just can't.

I couldn't sleep, I was in pain. The day everything happened kept playing over and over in my mind. I was thinking of ways I could have avoided it, even though I knew it wasn't a good thing.

I had to take a step back from this. It was something I had to get over, start focusing on just getting back in shape. As they say, the return will be better than the return.

Ben Chilwell has helped me massively. He has been talking to me since the injury happened until now. We even had a conversation with him today.

He's been through that injury himself. He knows exactly how I felt, the pressure, the mental side of things. He has helped me every step of the way. he didn't have to, so he deserves a big thank you.

I look at Chilwell now and he's flying. He is in good shape, playing well. I have been told that I will come back stronger. It's good to hear things like this from someone who has been through it themselves.

When I started to recover I felt a great emotion inside me. It was a reassurance that things were going in the right direction. The progress was there. It was a little scary, but I had to get over the fear factor.

Then, three weeks ago, I was back on the field. It was one of the best days. It makes me happy every time I reach a milestone in recovery. It gives me extra incentive.

There are some days when you walk in and feel like you're not doing any better or worse. But now I can see my journey, from where I was to where I have come.

I'm kicking a ball, moving, changing direction. You have to find the balance between the load you put on the knee and how much you take it off. So it's going to be a while until I can start doing sprints, jumps, things like that, but I'm very happy with how it's going.

I learned a lot about myself physically and mentally. I've always been grateful for the position I'm in as a footballer, but this has made me even more grateful. You never know when it might be taken away from you. We are very privileged. I don't take anything for granted now.

When I was in bed, I thought a lot. I missed football a lot. It reminded me how much I love football, how much I love it. It was a big injury, but I can recover. I'm giving my best, working harder to come back as soon and as strong as possible and I'm very grateful for the recovery and the support I'm getting from the club", concluded the red and black star .
