Ronaldo, emotionally charged, meets with the psychologist

Cristiano Ronaldo is experiencing the darkest period of his career and possibly his life since becoming one of the best footballers on the planet.

The non-activation with Manchester United and the loss of his newborn son a few months ago, have burdened the Portuguese star psychologically.

To overcome this, the 37-year-old turned to Canadian psychologist Jordan Peterson after reading one of his books.

The two met at the Portuguese's house and Ronaldo received assistance from the well-known psychologist. The news was confirmed by Peterson himself.

"I went to his (Ronaldo's) house and we were together for about two hours. We mainly talked about what he wanted for the future and the problems he is facing."
