The friendly before Euro 2024, only one absence for Albania

The Albanian national team held its first training session in Austria, where it is staying for the preparatory phase, on the eve of two friendly matches in June.

Coach Silvinjo and the technical staff worked with the group for more than an hour at full capacity and everything went according to plan.

Striker Taulant Seferi joined the team, after his commitments with his team in the United Arab Emirates. In the evening, Amir Abrashi became part of the gathering, who comes after securing his position in the Swiss football elite with Grasshoper.

The only absence was that of captain Berat Gjimshiti. The defender will play with Atalanta in the last challenge of the championship against Fiorentina and then he will join the red and black.

After Gjimshiti has arrived, the group in Albania will be complete, while the player is expected to be absent in the first friendly.

The Albanian national team will face Liechtenstein on June 3, at 20:00, at the "Haladas" stadium in Hungary, while four days later, the Reds and Blacks will play the second friendly in the same stadium with the Azerbaijan national team.

These two matches will be the last for Albania, before the European Championship, where the team led by Silvinho is part of group B, with big national teams such as Spain, Italy and Croatia.
