"Madness" at Bayern, fans buy all tickets for home matches

Bayern Munich have announced a new record for the 2025–2026 season. All tickets for home matches in the Bundesliga have already been sold out.

This comes a month before the start of the championship, which begins on August 22 with the match against Leipzig at the “Allianz Arena”. The club announced that since the inauguration of the stadium 20 years ago, every home match has been filled to capacity with fans.

CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen described this as an extraordinary outpouring of support. According to him, this continued interest underlines the importance of Bayern as a club and the stadium as a symbol.

"Since the 'Allianz Arena' opened 20 years ago, our stadium has been completely sold out for every match. We would like to sincerely thank all our fans for this. The fact that demand has remained unchanged after so long and that we are now breaking another record underlines the importance of both Bayern and our unique stadium. Without the 'Allianz Arena', Bayern would not be the club it is today ," said Dressen.
