The serious intervention of Rey Manaj against Baris Alper Yilmaz, in the match Sivasspor-Galatasaray, has caused great controversies to explode in Turkey.

Rey Manaj has apologized to Yilmaz, saying that he had no bad intentions.

"I am very sorry that I faced a situation that I did not want to experience in my professional football life. I want to state with all my sincerity to him and the football public that I did not intend to foul Bar?? Alper Y?lmaz or act in any way that would cause him an injury. It happened because of the adrenaline of the match result and I was trying to contribute to my team with emotions when this incident happened. I wish Bar?? Alper Y?lmaz a speedy recovery and apologize, hoping to see him as soon as possible between us," wrote Rey Manaj.

Even the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) has made a statement regarding the player of Galatasaray and the Turkish National Team, Bar?? Alper Y?lmaz.

"We are deeply saddened that Bar?? Alper Y?lmaz, the valuable player of Galatasaray Sports Club and our National Team, was injured as a result of an unsportsmanlike intervention in the Sivasspor-Galatasaray match played today. As TFF, the health and safety of every player who is part of Turkish football is our top priority. We would like to inform the public that we will follow this sad event", writes TFF in its response.
