The former referee attacks the VAR: It decided the Inter-Juve match, they must be held responsible

Juventus won the Italian derby against Inter at "San Siro", thanks to a goal from Serbian Kostic in the first half, but as expected, there were many debates.

Two hand touches in the action of the whites, first by Rabiot and then by Vlahovic, were not noticed by the referee, nor by the VAR, who decided to call the goal regular.

The debate started immediately after the match, as the former referee, Graziano Cesari, was very harsh with his statements to VAR.

"I have clear images that show two touches of the ball by hand, in the same action. In both cases, the Juventus players adjust the ball with the help of the hand and the goal is irregular. I don't know how VAR didn't intervene to make the footage available to the referee. It is inexplicable, that in the age of VAR and with so many cameras, big matches are decided by such a goal. Someone must be held responsible," declared Cesari.
