Incidents in Albania-Poland/ AFF faces FIFA today in... KAS

Today, the Albanian Football Federation will face FIFA in KAS for the fine for the Albania-Poland match played last year.

The AFL has brought to the CAS the decision of the FIFA Disciplinary Commission that considered Albania guilty for the events that took place in the Albania-Poland 0-1 challenge, played on October 12 of last year at "Air Albania".

It is learned that our federation has claimed that it was the friendly fans who caused the riots in the said match and the imposed fine, apart from a meeting without fans, is unfair according to them.

"The Albania-Poland events are the result of a continuous provocation and a very aggressive behavior on the part of the Polish fans who have hit our fans in two stands for almost 2 hours.

Polish fans are known for such behavior and for days all the authorities involved in the match have done their best to prevent more serious events", the AFL publicly declared.
