In the framework of the organization of the UEFA U-17 European Championship in Albania, a meeting was held at the "House of Football" premises between the heads of the State Police services of the cities of Tirana, Durrës, Kavajë and Elbasan, as well as representatives of the Border Police of the "Mother Teresa" International Airport, Rinas.

The purpose of this meeting was to provide information about the UEFA EURO 2025 U-17 event, which will take place from May 19 to June 1, at the "Arena Kombëtare", "Niko Dovana", "Elbasan Arena" and "Arena Egnatia" stadiums.

Participants also discussed the coordination and implementation of security measures for this important event, starting from the arrival of the participating teams at the airport, security measures in the hotels where they will be accommodated, as well as measures before, during and after the matches in all stadiums.

During the meeting, the points of contact for each stadium, the team and match agenda, as well as the need to exchange information on a case-by-case basis, were also discussed.

Strengthening cooperation and coordination between the State Police and the Albanian Football Association, as well as with other stakeholders involved in the organization of this event in Albania, will ensure that the UEFA EURO 2025 U17 is successfully held, following the success of the 2022 UEFA Conference League final.
