They compare him with Modric, the "eagle" Adrion Pajaziti: I am

He wasn't born with a ball, but he hasn't been separated from it since he was young. Adrion Pajaziti, loaned to Haugesung in Norway from Fulham, is told in the FSF column, "Albanian talent", showing how everything started for him and to continue with his big dream and many other topics. The midfielder, part of Albania U21, believes a lot in the potential of our national teams, while discovering even more who they compare him to and who are the players who motivate him. Pajaziti does not forget his debut with the red and black and emphasizes that playing with the national team shirt is a great emotion for him.

Adrion, how did your relationship with football start? Who is the person who pushed you towards this sport?

- As a child, as my parents tell me, I was always playing around the house with the ball in my hands and feet. Below the apartment we had a small field, where all the children of the neighborhood played. After I finished school, I left my bag at home and played there until it got dark and my mom called me. I pushed myself towards this sport, but also my family who enrolled me in the football club.

What drives you to grow even more in this profession?

- I have a lot of passion, football is in my blood. I have loved football since I was little. I don't want to lose, I always want to win, play well, score goals. This drives me in this profession, to make myself proud, my family, my friends, all those who have seen how much I have sacrificed for football.

Who is the person who advises you the most about football and who is closest to you?

- The whole family stayed by my side, father, mother, sister, who came to watch me during the matches. When my father was working and I was small then, my mother took me to the matches. Everyone has stood by me, even my sister. After the matches they advise me and tell me the truth, did I play well and what I need to improve.

How did you feel when you first received the invitation from Albania U21? How did you feel when you scored the first goal with the red and black shirt?

- I felt very very satisfied, very proud, when I played for the first time with Albania U21. We played in September in Croatia, against North Macedonia and Croatia. I immediately scored a goal. It was a beautiful feeling, pride, a lot of emotion. I really like when I play with the national team.

What can you highlight so far from your football life? Is there an achievement you are proud of?

– The achievement that I am most proud of, so far, is the moment of my debut with Fulham when I was 18 years old. I played 90 minutes and performed well. I've been at Fulham since I was 10, I've spent all my years there. The family was in the stadium and it was a great pleasure to play in front of them.

Who is the Albanian player that motivates you the most, that you have as an example? What about the foreign player?

- There are many good Albanian players, the quality has increased a lot. We will have a good future. Among the Albanian players who motivate me is Armando Broja. We played against each other with the U18 teams, I at Fulham and he at Chelsea. He has done good things for his club and the national team. Anis Mehmeti, whom I know, also debuted in the last match with the national team. We were together at Fulham, we grew up next to each other in London, we are friends. I was very pleased when it debuted, it motivated me as well. Among the foreigners, Messi for me is the best in history and I like him a lot. I like him and Modric.

Are you compared to any famous footballer and why?

- Ever since I was little, I have been compared to Luka Modric. I don't really like to talk about myself, but I believe that I am a technically good player, who tries to get the ball as much as possible, control the pace of the match, combine with my teammates. I am good at dribbling and I try to use my qualities in the match to score and assist for my team.

Seeing that you play abroad and many other young elements play in important European championships, do you think that Albania has a bright future?

- The national team has a good future. Both the national team A and Albania U21 have many players who play in important European championships and who have quality. I believe that we will do a good job in these qualifiers, I hope we will take Albania to the European Championship.

Personally, what is your biggest goal in football?

- For me, since I was little, the dream has been to play in the Champions League. It is the best competition, I have always followed it. The Champions League has a kind of magic and this is my biggest goal in football./ SuperSport
