Former Barcelona footballer Dani Alves remains behind bars in a Barcelona prison as he is accused of raping a 23-year-old girl in the last days of December. The incident is claimed to have happened in a Barcelona disco with the girl who accuses the Brazilian of sexually abusing her in the toilet.

However, Alves has declared himself innocent in court and recently the lawyer, Cristobal Martell, gave him a "big hand" to win the case. The latter has submitted a 200-page file to the Prosecutor's Office, while inside there is also a 12-minute video from a disco in Barcelona.

In fact, this video could also be the "turning point" in Dani Alves' trial, as it shows that the girl who claims to have been sexually abused was in the company of her cousin when the 39-year-old left for the toilet. In the same video, while Alves was in the toilet, the cousin can be heard saying that she talked to her relative about whether she should go after the Brazilian or not.

In this form, the lawyer aims to prove that everything happened with the approval of both parties and that his representative did not at any time commit an act of force against the 23-year-old girl.
