Në televizionin “Rai 2”, bashkëshortja e Mauro Icardit e nisi emisionin duke iu përgjigjur kësaj pyetje. Ajo mohoi të kishte shkuar në shtrat me legjendën e futbollit botëror.

“Unë nuk kam bërë kurrë dashuri me Maradonën, nuk kam qenë me të. Është e vërtetë që përfundova në shtëpinë e tij, në një festë. E kuptova që kjo gjë më bëri të famshëm. Unë kurrë nuk kam qenë në gjendje të flas me të për këtë.

Icardi është burri im. Ne jemi bashkë, kemi qenë gjithmonë një familje. Ai ka qenë me mua pothuajse gjithë jetën. Për mua është fat, për të nuk e di. Shpresojmë të jemi bashkë për gjithë jetën. Mauro ra në dashuri me mua, teksa isha me pizhame dhe përgatisja makarona me gjalpë dhe jo në një disko”, ka thënë ajo.
