The head of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, has stated that one of the main threats to Albanian families is poverty, which he has described as an alarm bell, stressing that the need for change is dire.

Among other things, Meta says that together with the opposition candidate Luciano Boçin, they are determined to remove Elbasan from the list of the poorest districts in Albania.

" Poverty is one of the main threats to the Albanian family, and the alarm bells are ringing today for the families in Elbasan District, which is the second poorest District in the country.

Në Elbasan, mbrojtja e familjes dhe rikthimi i shpresës tek të rinjtë është emergjencë. Duhen propozime dhe plan konkret!

Suzana Topi, të cilët janë kaq shumë të përkushtuar për t’ju shërbyer qytetarëve, për të hartuar dhe propozuar politika konkrete dhe të çmuara, që e fuqizojnë familjet, që i japin shpresë të rinjve, që i nxisin dhe inkurajojnë ata të krijojnë familjet e tyre dhe ta ndërtojnë të ardhmen e tyre në Shqipëri. 

We are determined to remove Elbasan from the list of the poorest districts of Albania. We are committed to the economic empowerment of families and the creation of opportunities for the wonderful young men and women of Elbasan, Cërrik, Librazhdi, Prrenjas, Gramsh, Peqin and Belsh.
