The British media are devoting occasional reports to the mass departure of Albanians to the United Kingdom.

A day ago, the BBC published an interview with an Albanian who had left Albania for Britain, saying that he wished he had never tried to enter Great Britain illegally.

During the reportage, the BBC conducted an interview with the deputy of the DP, Jorida Tabaku, who argued some of the causes that have influenced the departure of Albanians from their country to the United Kingdom.

Tabaku used the opportunity to complain.

Sipas saj një nga shkaqet i largimit të të rinjve shqiptarë është korrupsioni që ka prodhuar një sërë problemesh të tjera si mungesën e oportuniteteve.

“Ne, si politikanë, duhet ta pranojmë se kjo është e lidhur me korrupsionin e madh dhe sidomos në veri të vendi është e lidhur me mungesën e oportuniteteve. Dhe kjo është diçka që i takon qeverisë ta adresojë”, është shprehur Tabaku.

Deputetja e PD,tha për BBC se të rinjtë shqiptarë besojnë se sistemi në Shqipëri nuk është i drejtë dhe se meritokracia nuk ekziston, rrjedhimisht ata s’mund të kenë shanse ekonomike.

 “Nëse ke lindur i varfër në Shqipëri mbetesh i tillë pavarësisht se sa shumë punon”, tha Tabaku.

She emphasized that the government should accept this as a problem and then find a way to solve it. We cannot talk about a solution to a problem that the government does not understand.

"We must have a system within the legal framework so that these people are not forced to leave in this way. We must have a more accelerated procedure with the United Kingdom, as we have with the EU countries", said Tabaku, among other things. /CNA.al
