The vice president and deputy of the Democratic Party, Luciano Boçi, is the candidate from the DP primaries for the municipality of Elbasan.

With the officialization as the PD candidate for Elbasan in the local elections of May 14, Luciano Boçi will have to resign as a deputy.

Qani Xhafa, former head of Labinot Mal Municipality, is expected to take his place in Parliament.

According to CEC data, the first on the list to replace Boçi is Xhafa.

But this will happen 45 days before the election date, when the official registration of candidates is done.
