The question is why the Parliament of the years 1997-2005, when led by Gjinushi, Dokle and Pëllumbi, always found the language and balance with the opposition?!

Well, the same opposition was like today's, if not tougher than today. The same Sali was even then, even younger, stronger, who himself was at the head of all forms of protest.

There were violent clashes in the parliament of those years. Firearms were still in the square... Even a deputy was killed and the parliament burned down in that event.

But the decision to expel opposition MPs for half of the annual parliamentary term was never made. On the contrary, with patience and persistence, something was always found to create conditions to sit down for talks. Most tolerated, certainly not without political pain.

Undoubtedly, the parliament of those years was much higher than the Parliament of Elisa today. It was more balanced, although the SP has always been the party with an absolute parliamentary majority even in those times like today.

The issue is not with the majority and the minority, but with the way in which the affairs of democracy are managed.

The system of comparison must be made between the two behaviors of the Socialist Party, that of Nano, which despite taking a ruined Albania with armed Albanians managed to create a balanced parliamentary political life despite the parliamentary numbers, and that of Rama, who took an Albania civil society and with entrepreneurial and rich Armenians and systematically imbalanced political and parliamentary life. Terrible when you see it with this eye, to be honest.

From Gjinushi-Dokle-Pëllumbi to Spiropali, the difference is huge.
