The world-famous Albanian singer, Dua Lipa, as well as many other well-known names of the music world will be part of the famous festival "Glastonbury 2024", which will be held on Wednesday, June 26 at Worthy Farm.

The popular Glastonbury 2024 festival has been confirmed to take place at Worthy Farm in Somerset, from Wednesday June 26 to Sunday June 30.

In an announcement on Thursday, it was revealed that Dua Lipa, Coldplay and SZA will headline the festival. Shania Twain will also be a part. 

Famous names such as Little Simz, Burna Boy, LCD Soundsystem, PJ Harvey, Cyndi Lauper, Michael Kiwanuka, Janelle Monae, Paul Heaton, Keane, Paloma Faith, Olivia Dean and Ayra Starr will also be part of this festival. In this year's addition, K-pop group Seventeen will become the first K-pop group to perform on the Pyramid stage.

Tickets for Glastonbury 2024 sparked a wave of interest when they went on sale in November, selling out in less than an hour and leaving thousands of fans disappointed. Organizers are also trying to resell canceled or returned tickets.

Emily Eavis, one of the organizers of the festival has expressed the desire to include female actors equally with the male ones.

This line-up of events represents efforts to meet this objective, bringing a range of talented artists to the Glastonbury stage. /CNA
