"Life as a chess game"/ Eduard Shalsi brings Garry Kasparov's book into Albanian

Eduard Shalsi is among the most well-known politicians of the left, but this time he comes in a completely different profile, perhaps even unknown to a part of the citizens of Korça.

It was precisely the book "Life as a Chess Game" by the great master Kasparov, that pushed Shalsi to translate this work.

On Friday afternoon, he promoted the book translated by him in the premises of the Andon Zako Çajupi theater, with a high participation of Kor?ari citizens and supporters and friends of Shalsi.

Eduard Shalsi says that the pleasure the book gave him cannot be compared to the pleasure given by the fact that this book, after being read, serves people to better understand themselves. The city of Korça, as his birthplace, Shalsi has had his most special point.

"Success is a big word, but the pleasure that the book has given me, as well as the extraordinary pleasure that is giving me the fact that the book, after being read, serves people to better understand themselves, to be more aware of the actions that do, to set goals, not to be afraid of mistakes or failures, even to move forward after they have fallen, is extraordinary. To be honest, I am very happy to receive invitations from different cities. I was worried about Korcca , I was born here and the packed environment of the theater gave me an extraordinary happiness", he said.

Among other things, Shalsi gives a very valuable message regarding the responsibilities we have in our decisions, this also for politicians who, according to him, should make fair decisions.

"I think that each of us, in addition to the duty and responsibility that we have and we have a much greater one because our decisions impact not just our personal lives but many, many people, being aware of the consequences of actions or decision-making is a element from which every politician should start work. So, the awareness of the importance that our daily decision-making has in the lives of many people, should make the responsibility or insomnia to make the right decisions, be extraordinary", he said.
